Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit this website or play our games, why, and which rights you have. It covers:
- the website uladen.com,
- the game Diceheim for Android,
- the browser version of Diceheim at diceheim.uladen.com.
In short
- Diceheim collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no purchases, and your saved games stay on your device.
- This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics and loads nothing from other companies' servers.
- To deliver the pages and the browser version, our server has to process your IP address. We do not keep access logs.
1. Who is responsible
Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Harald FritzHochstraße 20/4
3730 Eggenburg
Austria
Email: contact@artfritz.com
We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so.
2. Visiting this website
Hosting
This website and the browser version of Diceheim run on a server that we rent from Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The server stands in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Hostinger processes data only on our behalf, under a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.
Data your browser sends
When you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data to our server: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file you request, the page you came from (referrer), and the type and version of your browser and operating system. The server needs these data to deliver the page to you and to protect the website against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to deliver the website securely and reliably.
Storage: the data are used only while your request is being answered. Our web servers are set up not to keep access logs.
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies and stores nothing on your device. It uses no analytics or tracking tools and no social media plugins. Fonts and images come from our own server, so no data go to other providers such as font or content delivery services.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites, for example to Google Play, are plain links. The other website receives data from your browser only when you follow a link, and its own privacy policy applies.
3. Contacting us
If you write to us by email, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and your message in order to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to answer your enquiry. We delete the emails when your enquiry is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them. Our email provider processes the messages on our behalf.
4. Diceheim for Android
What the app does not do
- The app has no internet access: it does not request Android's "Internet" permission, so it cannot send data to us or anyone else.
- It has no accounts or sign-in, shows no ads, contains no purchases and includes no third-party code for advertising, analytics or crash reports. It does not read your device's advertising ID.
- Its only permission is "Vibration", for a short buzz when you attack. You can switch it off in the game's settings.
What is stored on your device
The game keeps your saved games (the current match and the current campaign), your progress (glory, unlocked heroes, peoples and blessing packs, results of the daily Oracle) and your settings (for example volume, language and text size) in its private storage on your device. Other apps cannot read these files, they never leave your device, and Android's backup is switched off for the app. We have no access to them. You delete everything by uninstalling the app or by clearing its storage in Android's settings.
Google Play
If you get Diceheim from Google Play, Google processes data about the download and installation (for example your Google account and information about your device) as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Google shows us aggregated statistics about installations, devices, countries and ratings. If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data, Google also gives us reports about crashes and performance problems (for example device model, Android version, app version and the technical cause of a crash). These reports do not contain your name, your email address or your Google account. We use them only to fix errors. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a game that runs without errors.
5. Diceheim in the browser
The browser version at diceheim.uladen.com runs entirely in your browser. While you play, it sends no data to us or anyone else. It loads its files only from our server, as described in section 2.
Your saved games, progress and settings are stored in your browser's storage for diceheim.uladen.com (IndexedDB) and stay on your device. This storage is strictly necessary for the save function you use, so it needs no consent (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, which implements Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). You can delete these data at any time by clearing the site data of diceheim.uladen.com in your browser.
6. Recipients
Apart from our hosting provider (section 2) and our email provider (section 3), we do not pass personal data on to anyone, and we do not sell any data.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). To use these rights, write to the email address in section 1. Because our games keep your data only on your device, we usually hold no data about you apart from emails you sent us.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at. You may also turn to the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
8. Children
Diceheim is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
9. No automated decisions
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever the website or our games change in a way that affects your data, in particular before a version of a game with advertising or analytics comes out. The date at the top shows the current version.
